Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy

Do you feel disconnected and detached from your spouse?  Are you wondering why simple conversations often lead to conflict and tension? Many of the couples that I work with come in feeling just like you, exhausted by the repeated cycle of fighting without ever resolving the issue.

The most heartbreaking thing about this cycle is most couples suffer alone for 7 years, before coming in for marriage counseling.  Don’t let another day pass without reaching out–  you can work together to break down the wall between you and the person you love most in the world.

I use the EFT model of Marriage / Relationship counseling to help couples experience closer connection and greater emotional intimacy.

First, I will help you and your partner understand what is working well in your relationship.  Then I will work with you to identify and remove the roadblocks in your connection.  Our common goal is for you to learn to experience your relationship in new, deeper ways.

Sometimes, couples come in and one partner is leaning out of the marriage– contemplating divorce.  In those cases, I help clients with Discernment Counseling.  Facilitating the process of making decisions about the future of your marriage, without taking sides and finding the “guilty” party.
